Our very own Freedom Writer
Frank Watts was born in Durban, South Africa, at a time when the country was relatively wild and conservative. Over the years he has enjoyed, participated in, been saddened by, but mostly fascinated by the countless incidents he has been exposed to. Years of pondering over this wealth of experience, captured so vividly in his mind, Frank has finally started to share these wonderful interaction stories with the rest of the human race.
Frank also co-owns a small safari company called The Other Animals Safaris
Connecting through words
When an invisible virus brought the world to its knees and our small safari business was no longer able to operate, we were forced to explore our other passions and goals. Those long-forgotten dreams that we had carefully wrapped up and stored out of harms way were now slowly becoming a part of our new reality.
Freedom Writer was born out of necessity - a deep-rooted desire to remain connected to people, to our world.
While we are isolated and forced into a strange form of hibernation, we will continue to connect. We will not forget what it is like to be a social being and we will remember what freedom looks like.
Our ultimate goal is to share as many of our own stories with you, but also to publish other people's stories.
Everyone has a story to tell, and we are looking forward to being a part of this journey - where it takes us, nobody knows.
